on national television, including the PBS program
New Yankee Workshop. |

Don has spent his life around lumber and
is the owner of Pacific Coast Lumber located in San Luis Obispo, California.
He has successfully developed a business based on marketing exotic and non-standard building materials utilizing urban wood waste. He has spoken at numerous seminars on marketing wood waste and
utilizing urban forest wood solid waste material. |

Jim Evans
Jim is a California Licensed Timber
Operator who has been in the timber industry for more than 40 years. His
hands-on background, has given him a wealth of knowledge. Currently that knowledge is used
to lead Far West Forest Products which specializes in
California hardwoods providing a variety of forest
products and services. |

Brett Lottman
Brett is a Wood-Mizer technician and expert mill maintenance and alignment specialist. He is eager to share his knowledge and
11 years of experience to help sawyers
get the most out of their sawmill. |

Richard Thompson
Richard is s professor of forestry and natural
resources economics and policy in the
Natural Resources Management (NRM)
Department. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in forestry
from Oklahoma State University; and Ph.D. in Natural
Resources Economics from Texas A&M University. His
30 years of experience includes forest products industry,
consulting, research in government and academia, and
teaching. |
